≡ S. Korea To Send Antiviral Medicine To N. Korea Tuesday At Earliest
Seoul's unification ministry says the government will likely send antiviral medicine and supplies to North Korea as early as tomorrow.
In a regular briefing this morning, ministry spokesman Baik Tae-hyun said officials are making final arrangements for the transportation of aid materials.
Earlier, the government said it plans to send 200,000 doses of Tamiflu and early medical detection kits to the North as part of an agreement between the leaders of the two Koreas last September.■

≡ One In 10 Prospective College Graduates Has Job Security: Poll
A recent poll shows only one out of 10 college students graduating this year have landed a regular job.
Jobkorea, a job recruitment portal, surveyed 1,100 university seniors and found 11 percent of them have already managed to secure permanent positions while 10 percent said they are interning or taking temporary jobs.
The remaining 79 percent said they have yet to find work.
The poll was conducted from January 14th to the 17th and had a margin of error of plus or minus 2.9 percentage points with a confidence level of 95 percent.■ [2019.01.21]

≡ S. Korea To Face Bahrain In Knockout Stage Of AFC Asian Cup
South Korea will take on Bahrain Tuesday in the first round of the knockout stage at the Asian Football Confederation Asian Cup.
Kickoff is set to take place at 5 p.m. local time or 10 p.m. Korea time in the United Arab Emirates.
The Taeguk Warriors reached the knockout phase as the Group C winners, collecting three straight wins over the Philippines, Kyrgyzstan and China.■
