


Hans Schattle has worked as a journalist and scholar for more than 20 years in the United States, Great Britain and now, Korea. Hans moved to Seoul in 2008 when he joined the Department of Political Science and International Studies at Yonsei University as an associate professor. He earned his D. Phil. in political science at Oxford, and published his first book, The Practices of Global Citizenship, in 2007. He teaches courses related to international relations theory, European politics, United States foreign policy and the political, economic and cultural changes linked with globalization. Before launching his academic career, Hans worked as a political and investigative reporter for The Standard-Times in New Bedford, Massachusetts, and then as a news writer and associate producer for WCVB-TV in Boston.
